Natural fabrics, therefore, are our sustainable choice. The production of various synthetic fibres generates significant greenhouse gases and relies on finite resources like petroleum. They also often consume a lot of water in their production process, releasing chemicals into the water table. Synthetic fibres are also often not biodegradable and contribute significantly to toxic plastic pollution!
