What you’ll be doing
We’re building a brand for today. The copywriter role is the voice of everything we’re building at Lemonade. We’re refreshing the way consumers today buy luxury, and you’ll be responsible for driving this change in the industry. Our tone of voice has three pillars: Evocative, Approachable, and Reliable. As the Copywriter your responsibilities are:
- Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts across channels & platforms, keeping the brand voice intact
- Research and understand Lemonade’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across PR, Brand, and Social
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
- Lead efforts across concept development to delivery of final product with PR, Design & Social teams
- Collaborate across teams to ideate and execute Product Marketing, Supply Marketing, and Business Marketing efforts
You’re the one if:
- You’re passionate about taking on challenges. We’re disrupting an old-school industry with a new-age idea and it’s no easy feat
- You move at lightspeed. Including making business-critical decisions
- You have 3-5 years of experience in a copywriting role – big plus if you’ve worked with brands in our categories
- You’re equally comfortable with short-form and long-form writing
- You understand all things brand and the importance of authentic, evocative copy
- You have experience managing and working with discrete, decentralized teams
