What you’ll be doing
We’re out to change preconceived notions about the luxury industry and the Director of Operations will be instrumental in how we go about executing this vision. The Director Operations is primarily responsible for ensuring that our core operations functions are able to seamlessly work with each other with the goal of achieving best-in-class user and merchant experience.
- Work closely with the founding team to shape and execute operations strategy across business-critical functions such as factory partner experience, customer experience, and logistics including last-mile delivery
- Define Strategic Goals, SOPs, and SLAs across all operations functions and own outcomes for the same
- Identify and empanel vendors and platforms to ensure seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders on the Lemonade platform
- Manage a team of CX (customer experience), MX (merchant experience), and central ops people to ensure SLA adherence and achievement of defined goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in sourcing, product and engineering to achieve organizational goals
- Create and manage reports and management dashboards as required to track the performance of CX, MX, and central ops functions
- Proactively identify and solve operational challenges with the goal of improving team efficiencies
You’re the one if:

- You move at lightspeed. Including making business-critical decisions
- You have 5-7 years of proven experience working in an operations role, preferably managing a team in a high-growth startup
- Strong inclination towards numbers and a problem-solving mindset
- Extremely comfortable with excel/google sheets. Knowledge of other reporting tools is a plus
- Strong project management, presentation, time management, and communication skills
